Rakeback – Good for Three Reasons

If you are trying to make as much money as possible from playing poker, there is no reason why you shouldn’t play with poker rakeback. When doing that, you get a percentage of the rake you pay refunded to your bankroll. The only thing you have to do is to sign up to a poker room through an affiliate, someone who has a deal with a poker room, and earns money from the referred players’ game. The affiliate keeps a small percentage of your rakeback and gives the major part of it back to you. Just as simple as that.

Rake back is good for three reasons:

1. You will get money back. Money that would have been gone forever if you would have played without a rakeback deal. Poker rooms take a couple of percent from every pot, and it adds up to a quite large amount of money in the long run. Players that play a couple of hours a day at mid-stakes usually pay a couple of thousand dollars in rake every month. Why wouldn’t you want to get maybe 40% of that money back?

2. It is the only way to beat low limit games. When playing with small stakes, poker rooms deduct a very high percentage in rake. Even if you are an above average player your winnings might be eaten up by the enormous rake. A good rakeback deal gives you a chance to actually win at low limits, and take advantage of the fact that you have an edge at the poker table.

3. It is good for poker in a larger sense. When money is taken away from the table it is gone, not only from that table, but also from the collective bankroll of all poker players. That money can no longer be won by any player. But if the bad players play with rakeback they will get some of their raked money back, and that money can be won by the good poker players. Let’s put it this way: If you are good, you get a second chance of capturing the less skilled players’ cash.
